Blackjack on 918Kiss: what the felt tells you
The rules are printed on the felt: blackjack pays 3 to 2, the dealer draws to 16 and stands on all 17s, insurance pays 2 to 1. Up to five boxes, with surrender and double.
Blackjack is one game where the rules on the table make a real difference, and 918Kiss prints them where you can't miss them. Across the top of the felt: "Blackjack pays 3 to 2" and "Dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s". The insurance line pays 2 to 1.
The table
Five betting circles sit along the curve, and you can play more than one. In the screenshot at the top there are 0.5 chips on two boxes, one holding a 3 and a 7 for 10, the other a 6, an A and a Q for 17. The dealer shows a 6 with the second card face down. An arrow marks the hand you're playing, and the buttons along the bottom read Surrender, Hit, Stand and Double.
Limits are 0.5 to 1000, and the chips shown are 0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50, with a small arrow to scroll for bigger ones. Your current balance sits bottom left.
Insurance
When the dealer's face-up card is an ace, the game stops before you play and offers insurance. The shot below shows exactly that, with two hands of 8 and 12, and two buttons: Insurance and Skip insurance.
Insurance is a side bet that the dealer has blackjack, paid at 2 to 1. It usually costs more than it saves over time, which is why most basic strategy charts say to skip it.
What we changed from the old page
The old text said blackjack "requires strategy, patience and courage" and that the goal is to "win as much money as possible". A basic strategy chart lowers the house edge. It doesn't remove it.

Questions people ask
Does the dealer hit soft 17 in 918Kiss blackjack?
No. The felt says the dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s, which includes soft 17.
Can I play more than one hand?
Yes. The table has five boxes and the screenshots show chips on two of them at once, each played in turn.
Is insurance worth taking?
Insurance pays 2 to 1 and is a separate bet that the dealer has blackjack. Most blackjack guides advise skipping it, and there's a Skip insurance button for that.
