Ronin, the samurai slot with two wilds
Cherry blossoms, a castle, a war horse and a samurai who does two jobs at once. Ronin on 3Win8, with a rules page that needs a careful read.
Cherry blossoms hang over the frame, a Japanese castle sits in the corner, and the reels carry a samurai helmet, a war horse in red harness, a castle and a blue banner reading 武士道 (bushido). Ronin has a slightly tangled rule set, so it's worth reading slowly.
One samurai, two jobs
The Ronin, a samurai in a red robe, is the scatter. He pays in any position, multiplied by the total bet: 1 for two, 3 for three, 20 for four and 500 for five, and those wins are added on top of line wins.
He's also a wild on the lines. He substitutes for every symbol except the Koku and pays 5,000 for five, 1,000 for four, 200 for three and 10 for two.
The Koku is a gold coin with a square hole, a nod to the old rice-based unit of samurai wealth. It only lands on reel 3 and substitutes for everything except a scattered Ronin. When it helps make a win, that win is doubled, which is why five Ronin with a Koku show 10,000.
Other rules
A progressive jackpot can be won at random at the end of any game and is added to other wins. The most any single paid spin can pay is 40,000 times the bet per line. Only the highest win on each line counts.
The old page said two Ronin and a Koku start one of three features, with free games and multipliers up to 10x. We can't see that on this page. It may be one screen further along in the help.

Lines go up to 20. In one shot 20 lines at 0.10 cost 2.00. In the other, 5 lines at 0.02 cost 0.10, and two samurai helmets at the start of line 1 pay 0.04.

Both. The Ronin pays anywhere as a scatter, 1 to 500 times the total bet, and on a line he substitutes for every symbol except the Koku coin. Five on a line pay 5,000.
What is the Koku in Ronin?
A square-holed gold coin that only appears on reel 3. It substitutes for everything except a scattered Ronin, and a win it helps make is doubled. Five Ronin with a Koku pay 10,000.
Does Ronin have free games?
The old page described two feature choices with free games and rising multipliers. The rules page in our screenshots doesn't mention them, so we can't confirm them for 3Win8.
