Evil King OX and the wild that fills reel 3
The Bull Demon King, his fan-wielding wife and a fire-haired boy, with a stone wild carved with 牛魔王 that fills the middle reel.
The three red characters on the stone tablet read 牛魔王, the Bull Demon King. In Xi You Ji, the Monkey King novel, he is the Monkey King's sworn brother turned enemy, and in this slot he gets his own game.
The characters and the feast
The reels are dark, with misty mountains on both sides. The picture symbols are round portraits: the bull-horned king in green armour, a fire-haired boy (Red Boy, his son in the novel), and two cartoon women, one with fox ears and one with a flower in her hair. The other symbols are a roast leg of meat, a jar of wine marked 酒, a trident spear and a green feathered fan, which is the famous palm-leaf fan from the story. There are no card letters.
The wild on reel 3
In three of the four screenshots a sandstone tablet carved with 牛魔王 fills the whole of reel 3, and a red line runs through it to join matching symbols on both sides. It works as an expanding wild, fixed to the middle reel in every shot we have.
Scatter and jackpot
Two more specials are visible. A volcano erupting over the word JACKPOT sits on reel 1 in one shot, and a gate in the mountains marked SCATTER sits on reel 5 in another. What they trigger isn't shown, and the old page only said the game has free spins, wilds and scatters.
Lines and bets
The numbers 1 to 9 run down both sides, so it's a 9-line game. The first screenshot shows a total bet of 180, the others 9. Wins in our shots are 23 to 30. The room badge reads Shanghai.
