Battle World, a light-ring game with a Monkey King theme

Battle World looks nothing like the reel games around it in the 918Kiss lobby. The screen is a ring of round portraits laid over misty mountain peaks, and in the middle a hero in a gold headband rides a cloud with a staff. It plays like the animal-ring games in Malaysian arcades: you bet on which portrait the light stops on.

The betting board

The first screenshot shows the board you bet on. There are four characters: the hero with the gold headband, a girl with her hair in two buns, a green goblin with a yellow crescent, and a horned bull-like figure. Each appears in red, green and yellow, which gives twelve boxes, and each box shows its odds:

A separate column holds Bank at 2, Tie at 9 and Player at 2, with a row of recent Player, Bank and Tie results above the board. You pick a chip value (50 in the screenshot) and tap the boxes. Last Result and Re Bet sit bottom right, with Balance, Bet and Win across the bottom.

When the light runs

After betting the board drops away and the ring takes over. The portraits dim and a light moves around them until it settles on one, while the result of the Player or Bank side bet shows in a small sign.

In the third screenshot a round wheel with four 6s appears in the middle, and a yellow Bank sign lights up. The screen doesn't explain the wheel, so we can't tell you what it pays. A jackpot counter sits on the left in every shot.

In games built like this, a higher number usually means the light stops there less often, so the 46 box isn't better value than the 4.
