Golden Island and the mystery scatter pick
The old page was pure advertising. The game itself is a pirate slot on a ship's deck, with a pick-one-of-eight feature before the bonus spins.
One long ad, that was the old text for this game: "don't waste time looking for other places", "your grand prize may be very close to you", "fortunately won the grand prize". We've thrown it out. The nine screenshots show an ordinary but tidy pirate slot, and a feature worth explaining.
On deck
The reels are set on a ship's deck with blue sea and sky on both sides, and 20 Lines marked on the red posts either side. The characters are a woman pirate with a red bandana, a bearded pirate in blue, and a skull wearing a red captain's hat. Treasure fills the rest: a blue and gold teapot, a red jewel chest, a gold goblet, a ring, a compass and a pile of coins.
Values
The skull is the top symbol, 5,000 for five. The woman pirate pays 2,000, the bearded pirate and the teapot 750 each. The treasure pieces pay between 150 and 100 for five. Two of a kind pays on the four biggest symbols.
Ship, pick, mystery scatter
The ship picture is marked Scatter and says "substitute for all symbols", so it's wild and scatter in one. It pays 2 for three, 20 for four and 200 for five.
The middle of the help screen shows the feature in two steps. First, a grid of eight red tiles: "you can select 1 of 8 items and it will become the mystery scatter". Second, a set of reels where that symbol has filled every position on its reel, with the line "mystery scatter will fulfill all the reel". In plain words, you pick a symbol, and in the bonus spins that symbol expands to cover whole reels when it appears. How many spins you get isn't written on the saved screen.
