Chinese New Year, the zodiac on five reels
Rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, snake, horse, goat, rooster, dog and pig in framed tiles, with the tiger as wild and 20 numbered lines.
The red banners on either side of the reels say 农历新年, Lunar New Year, and the reels hold the twelve-year zodiac. Chinese New Year is one of the Live22 games that uses a different screen from the rest, the same one as Jingle Winnings.
Zodiac tiles
Each symbol is an animal portrait in a square frame: a grey rat, a black ox, a tiger, a white rabbit, a green snake, a brown horse, a goat, a rooster, a wrinkly shar-pei dog and a pig. The tiger comes with the word WILD under it in two of the shots. The old page's list of animals included a monkey, which we didn't see, and left out several that are there.
Choose your lines
Unlike most Live22 slots, this one lets you choose how many lines to play. The bet is set with three boxes, each with minus and plus buttons: Bet Value, Line and Line Bet. The total bet is those three multiplied. In the first shots the game is set to 1 line, so the total bet is 1 and only line 1 is drawn across the middle row. In the last shot it's set to 20 lines and the total bet is 20.
The jade discs down both sides are numbered from 1 to 20, so 20 is the maximum. The old page said 15 lines and borrowed the coin settings from a different game, so we've set those aside.
Playing fewer lines lowers the cost of a spin, but it also means most winning combinations on the other lines won't pay.
Bonus spin
In the last screenshot a glowing Bonus Spin banner stretches across the reels. The old page described a free-spin bonus started by an animation and a second game where you pick firecrackers. We can't confirm either from these shots. The View Jackpot tab under the counter opens the jackpot display.
