Justice Bao, a courtroom slot from old China

Judge Bao is one of the best-known figures in Chinese folk stories, the incorruptible Song dynasty magistrate with the dark face and the crescent moon on his forehead. This slot puts his courtroom on the reels.

The courtroom symbols

Five reels, three rows, 20 lines, with "20 lines" written down both sides in the first shot. The picture symbols are all from the Bao stories: the big court drum with red sticks, the guillotines with animal heads (Bao's courts famously had three, for royals, officials and commoners), a jade seal with a beast on top, a red scroll with a feather, a wooden chest, and a portrait of the judge himself. The low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in bright colours.

A line counter on the side

In the first shot the side panels read 20 lines. In the other two they read 6 lines and 1 lines, matching the "Line 6 Wins 15" and "Line 1 Wins 20" messages. So the panels seem to show which line just paid.

Scatter and bonus claims

The only feature the screen mentions is "3 or more scatter symbols can win bonus coins". The old page added that Bao is the wild, and that landing him on reels 2 and 4 gives 5 free spins where he grows to fill those reels. That may be right, but none of our screenshots shows it. The same page quoted a top prize of 25,000 coins, which we've left out because nothing on screen confirms it.

The bet bar is the standard one with Total Bet, Max Bet, Auto Spin, Fast and Spin. All three shots use a total bet of 20 in the Beijing room.
