Mega888, the app that feels like 918Kiss

If you have used 918Kiss, Mega888 will look familiar within seconds, and the 2019 page on this site said as much: it "gives players a familiar feel" because it's "very similar to the SCR888 or the new 918Kiss". The lobby is a grid of illustrated game tiles, there's a big Special Bonus counter in the corner, and the menu along the bottom has the same kinds of buttons.

The lobby

The screenshot at the top shows the Mega888 lobby from around 2019. The first row has Poker Three and three fishing games, each tile marked "10000 times": Ocean King, Da Sheng Nao Hai and Li Kui Pi Yu. The second row has Motorbike, Robin Hood Shifting Riches, Alice and African Wildlife, the last three with small jackpot figures under them. A Hot Game badge sits top left, a Game Directory tab runs down the left edge, and Menu, History and Suggestion are along the bottom. The username in the top bar is blurred.

What's inside

Most of the Mega888 pages here are 5-reel slots, and they fall into a few groups. The classic-style ones have Balance, Bet and Win across the top and three jackpot counters, like T-Rex, Tally Ho and Victory. Newer-looking slots such as Stone Age, Treasure Island and Snow World show bets in whole credits and a "Press Reveal" prompt. Sparta and Spartan sound alike but aren't: one has 30 lines and a card gamble after wins, the other is a nine-line machine. Two games have no reels at all. Thunder Bolt is a monkey race you bet on, and Single Pick is a one-card suit guess. And there's a run of Chinese-themed slots, from Zao Chai Jin Bao and Wealth's Treasure to Sun Wukong.

Getting an ID

As with 918Kiss, there's no sign-up inside the app. An agent or website with back-office access creates a username and password. You top up by bank transfer, DuitNow or e-wallet to an account they name, they load credit onto your ID, and when you want to cash out they take the credit off and send money back. The game has no way to pay you. Whoever holds the money does. Keep screenshots of every transfer, start small, test a small withdrawal early and never share a TAC or your banking login.

How it gets onto a phone

Mega888 was never on Google Play or the App Store. The old download page offered an Android APK, an iPhone build for 64-bit devices (iPhone 5s and newer, iPad Air and iPad mini 2) and a separate one for the 32-bit iPhone 5. All those links are dead.

On Android, an APK only installs after you allow "install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager, which skips the Play Store's checks. On iPhone, apps like this used an enterprise certificate, and you had to trust an unknown developer profile in Settings. Apple revokes those certificates, so the app could stop opening without warning. A slot app has no reason to ask for your contacts, SMS or accounts, so if it does, don't install it.
