Spartan, the nine-line one (not Sparta)

Two Mega888 games share a Greek theme and almost the same name, and the old site made it easy to mix them up. Sparta is the 30-line game with a card gamble. Spartan, this one, is a smaller nine-line machine with a Chinese title (斯巴达) above the English one.

Nine lines, drawn out

The first screenshot is the useful one: all nine paylines are drawn across the reels in different colours, so you can see exactly which positions each line covers. The line numbers sit on stone tabs down both sides, 1 to 9. With Bet Lines at 9 the total bet reads 0.90, so 0.10 a line.

The picture symbols are crossed curved swords, a bronze shield with a red lambda, and a tight row of soldiers behind their shields. There are also portraits of a warrior and a woman drawn to look like film stills, which we've left out. Card values A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 come in bright metallic colours.

Extras on the screen

A gold Dollar Ball badge with an Enable button sits top right, the same side game Captain's Treasure on 918Kiss offers. Minor and Major counters sit on the left, Random on the right, and a red ticker scrolls a progressive jackpot figure under them. The button row reads Lines, Bet, Autoplay and Play, which turns into Stop while the reels move.

The old page opened with a joke about a film and credited the game to a provider we can't confirm from the screen. We've kept to what the screenshots show.
