Wings of Gold, a wartime aviation slot

Wings of Gold is set in the sky over an airfield, with Second World War style fighters flying across the reels: twin-tail planes in olive green and grey camouflaged jets with red noses. The logo at the top has gold wings on either side, the kind of badge a pilot would pin to a jacket.
Planes and pilots
The card symbols are 9 to A in heavy beige letters, like stencils on an aircraft body. The picture symbols are the planes, a pilot in a brown leather flying cap and goggles, and the Wings of Gold logo. There's also a red-haired pin-up pilot in the old nose-art style. We've left her out of the screenshots here. The old page said the male pilot is the wild and appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4. One of our screenshots also shows a tile with "Wild" written across it, helping make a MYR0.30 win on one line.
The Xtra Win side bet
In the top right corner, next to the logo, is a button reading "Xtra Win, click to activate". A pop-up on the first screen advertises it as a new feature. The old page explained the deal: switch it on before you play, pay 10 extra coins each spin, and the wilds expand in the main game. Without it, wilds only expand during the free games.
Think about what that means for your spend. On a small bet, 10 extra coins can cost more than the spin itself. Side bets like this make each spin more expensive, and they don't change the basic odds of the game in your favour. If you try Wings of Gold, try it with Xtra Win off first.
The older panel
This is Playtech's older layout: Spins (for auto play), Lines, Line Bet, Total Bet and Win, with Info, Auto Start, Lines, Bet Per Line, Bet Max and Spin underneath. One shot shows 20 lines at MYR0.01, which makes MYR0.20. The rest show 1 line at MYR0.10.
