NTC33 and the Newtown Casino lobby

Open NTC33 and the first thing you see isn't the name NTC33 at all. The logo in the corner and the old banners say Newtown Casino, and that's what the app really is: a lobby of games made by Playtech, the same studio behind the Age of the Gods slots and many others you'll find on sites around the world. The old myslot.live page spent three paragraphs on "the best graphics, the best sound and the best math". We'll stick to what the screens show.

The lobby

The left side menu is where everything lives. It lists New Games, Favorites, Video Slots, Classic Slots, Live Dealers, Macau, Arcade Games, Table & Card Games and Scratch Cards, with a search box at the bottom. Your game ID and credit sit at the top, in ringgit, next to a yellow Cashier button, and a rotating banner along the top advertises one game at a time.

Video Slots is the biggest section by far. Once you're inside it, a second menu lets you filter by line count (5-10 lines, 15-20 lines, 25+ lines), plus Multi Spin, Progressive and All Ways. That's handy, because the full slot list runs to many screens of tiles.

A short tour of the slots

The old site gave 28 of these games their own pages. A few to start with:

• Age Of God Fate Sister and Age Of God Furious 4 belong to Playtech's Age of the Gods series, with four linked jackpots shown at the top of the reels.
• Cash Blox is a falling-blocks game, closer to Tetris than to a normal slot.
• Chao Ji 888 is a small three-reel game where dragons do the paying.
• Jin Qian Wa and Wu Long go for Chinese good-luck themes.
• Triple Monkey and Viking Mania show how different the reel layouts can get inside one app.

Some titles turn up in other apps too. Gladiator Jackpot is also on Rollex11, which runs a very similar lobby, and Streak Of Luck is on Lpe88. The full list is on the NTC33 games page.

How it gets onto a phone

The old download page offered three files: an Android app for slots only, a second Android app for live games, and a Windows program. There was also a link to play in a web browser. None of those links work any more, and we don't host or link app files.

These apps are not in Google Play or the App Store. On Android, installing one means allowing "install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager, which switches off a protection meant to stop apps from outside the store. Read the permission list before you tap install, and switch that setting back off afterwards. The Windows client in the screenshots is an old desktop program, the kind of file your antivirus may flag.

Before you get an ID

You can't sign up inside NTC33. An agent creates the game ID for you and loads credit onto it after you send money, and withdrawals go back through the same person. If you still want to go ahead, get a game ID through our partner page, start with a small top-up and ask how withdrawals work first.
