Bounty of the Beanstalk, Jack and the Giant on five reels
It opens like a storybook and plays like a slot. Jack triggers a treasure bonus, the Giant brings free spins, and both only land on reels 1, 3 and 5.
A book falls open on a wooden table, the words "Once upon a time..." fade in, and a Skip Intro button waits at the bottom. That's how Bounty of the Beanstalk starts on NTC33. It's the Jack and the Beanstalk story turned into a Playtech slot, with a farmhouse on one side, the beanstalk on the other and Jack himself standing next to the reels.
Two features, both on reels 1, 3 and 5
Before the reels appear, a two-panel screen explains the whole game. On the left is the Giant's Treasure Bonus: three Jack bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 take you into the Giant's house, where he's asleep at the table among coins and gems. Collect 3 golden items there and you win the progressive jackpot, which stood at MYR1,278,674.76 in this shot.
On the right is Giant Free Spins, triggered by three Giant symbols on the same three reels. The caption says "Watch Jack run as the Giant creates wilds on the reels", and the small preview shows reel positions marked LOCKED. You can tick "Don't show next time" to skip this screen.
The reels
The main game is a 5x3 grid on a wooden frame. The card symbols 9, 10, J, Q, K and A take up most of it. The picture symbols are an axe, a pile of green magic beans, a cow, and a blonde woman in a bonnet. The wild is a logo tile with WILD under the game's name. The Giant's face and Jack's bonus symbol also land here, but only on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Bet panel and a small win
The bottom bar has Info, Lines, Line Bet, Win, Total Bet, Turbo Mode, Auto Play and Spin. The screenshots were taken on 1 line at MYR0.01. In the last one, three Qs on the top row paid MYR0.10, drawn as a line across the reels. The progressive jackpot meter sits at the top right during play, a reminder that the big prize exists. It won't come often.
