Egypt Spin, scarabs and a choice of free spins
Three pharaoh Bonus symbols give you a choice: 5, 10 or 15 free spins, each with a different kind of wild. Here's how Egypt Spin looks on NTC33.
Egypt Spin sets its reels in a sandstone frame with a pharaoh statue on the left and palm trees on the right. It's a 5x3 slot with 50 lines, and the line numbers 50 on each side of the reels remind you of that. The screens we have were all taken at a coin of RM0.01 and a total bet of RM0.50.
Scarabs, cats and the Eye of Horus
The low symbols are J, Q, K and A carved in stone tiles. The pictures are the Eye of Horus, a green scarab with red wings, an ankh, a black cat statue and a woman in Cleopatra-style gold jewellery. In the first shot three scarabs on line 45 paid RM0.12, part of a total win of RM0.36 for the spin. The old page described the wild as a temple with pyramids behind it, landing on reels 2 to 5 only. None of our screenshots show one.
Choose your bonus
Three pharaoh heads with BONUS written under them bring up the most interesting screen in the game. Instead of giving you a fixed feature, it lets you pick one of three:
- 5 free spins with sticky wilds
- 10 free spins with expanding wilds
- 15 free spins with stacked wilds
It's a real choice with a trade-off. Sticky wilds stay put for the rest of the round, expanding wilds fill their whole reel, and stacked wilds come in tall blocks. Fewer spins get the stronger-sounding wild. The game doesn't show any odds, so pick the one you like watching. In our screenshots the round ended with a "Well done, you won RM1.98" message.
Controls
The panel is simple: Info, Coin, Total Bet with minus and plus, a big win display, Auto, Turbo and a round orange spin button. The old page said Turbo makes the reels "fly", and you can set Auto to stop after a number of spins or when a feature triggers.
